1520 Magnolia St. is looking for volunteers to help cleaning/clearing flowerbeds as well as caulking around the outside of the home.

Volunteers are needed to help at Mark Twain Overlook. Volunteers will help to clean up the park area and remove any trash and debris from the park.

1816 Duncan St. is looking for volunteers to help with general yard work, raking, and laying fertilizer. 

Clark House needs help in our front courtyard for spring planting and sprucing up: weeding, removing dead leaves/weeds/plants, and possibly light pruning. Some of our tenants who help take care of the courtyard throughout the spring/summer will be out to assist them and provide direction as well.

Musserville Church is looking for volunteers to do trimming, maybe painting the lines on the parking lot, and mulching, and possibly, if you have a crew that is up for it, putting new tile on the bathroom floors.

The Muscatine YMCA is looking for volunteers to clean up the public trails that go around their property.

The children will rotate so volunteers will see all or a good portion of the kids in their assigned class each time. The Reading Mentors will read to the children and have the children read to them. Reading Mentors can bring an age-appropriate book or use one the school has. Volunteers are needed during the following times.

Reading Mentors will go to the school one time per week during a 30-Min reading block and work kids on small group basis. The children will rotate so volunteers will see all or a good portion of the kids in their assigned class each time. The Reading Mentors will read to the children and have the children read to them. Reading Mentors can bring an age-appropriate book or use one the school has. Volunteers are needed during the following times.
