Who We Are
Purpose of DSCI: To improve the quality of life through economic development by providing education, information and social services. We serve people from all over the world who live in Muscatine and surrounding areas.
Mission Statement: The Diversity Service Center of Iowa assists families with their immigration process and advocates for senior citizens ages 60+.
Vision Statement: The Vision of DSCI is to educate and inform the community and its citizens to understand the impact and the necessity of diversity. From our many diverse backgrounds, we build one strong community.
Objectives:
- Unite the community through the integration of all cultures
- Create and implement a variety of programs to serve the community
- Serve as a liaison to other social service agencies
Organization: The Diversity Service Center of Iowa has been recognized nationally by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) since July 12, 2002, and staff accredited to assist the public on immigration issues.
What We Do
We Offer:
-Consultations on Immigration issues
-Immigration case investigations
-Provide and prepare all immigration forms
-Provide presentations on immigration issues to civic groups and employers upon request
Free Services to senior citizens ages 60+:
-Biweekly authentic Hispanic Meal Site
-Case Management
-Home Visits
-Liaison with other agencies
