United Way Muscatine's Educate United Affinity group is looking for Reading Mentors. Reading Mentors will go to the school one time per week during a 1-hour reading block and work with kids on a small group basis. The children will rotate, so volunteers will see all or a good portion of the kids in their assigned class each time. The Reading Mentors will read to the children and have the children read to them. Reading Mentors can bring an age-appropriate book or use one that the school has.
