Parent Teacher Conference Dinner October 26th

Parent teacher conferences are an excellent opportunity for teachers and parents to partner around raising student achievement. However, teachers often report challenges in getting families to come to conferences, particularly the families of students they really need to talk to. Families can face a myriad of challenges in coming to conferences, some that are certainly out of teachers’ control. MHS Faculty and staff have recognized that holding conferences during dinnertime might create difficulties for some families. In order to eliminate this possible barrier, United Way of Muscatine will be providing students and their families a complimentary pizza dinner.

 

United Way of Muscatine and Muscatine High School are seeking volunteers to assist on the night of conferences.
